Any time I see someone using a Rolleiflex, I always want to see their photos. Flowlines

File this one under absolutely amazing CGI. I would recommend starting with the Flowline R&D reel, and then moving on to the Megalodon.

    rAdom

The two hemispheres of a dolphin’s brain work independently.
For 8 hours, the entire brain is awake. The left side then sleeps for 8 hours. When it wakes up, the right side sleeps for 8 hours. Thus, the dolphin gets 8 hours of sleep without ever having to stop physically.

    Google.com vs. Google.cn

I know I keep harping on this, but I find it interesting. I would like to think that the internet is a place where ideas can be exchanged freely. I find it fascinating that it would be actively filtered for some people. It also makes me wonder what is being filtered for me.

This site gives a visual representation to the filtering between google.com and google.cn. A blue line indicates that a link show up for both sites. Keep in mind that order (relevance) is important, so it is interesting to see how changes are made between the two.

The engine gives visual results for the top one hundred google.com returns, and then compares them to the top one hundred google.cn returns.
