I have been working with my host for the last month or so to try and figure out why my wordpress installation is using so much CPU and memory. I have failed to figure out what the issues is.

I cannot afford to purchase a dedicated plan as they suggest, and I cannot further endanger the rest of my web projects by letting this monster continue to consume CPU cycles and risk the closing of my account.

So, I am forced to close down the blog.

Hopefully I will find the time in the near future, and be able to resurrect the blog again. I thank you all for your patronage over the years.

After a way, way, way too long hiatus. Militantplatypus is returning….soon. I will be re-vamping the site over the next couple of weeks, and doing a relaunch in the next couple of months.

For those of you who are still checking in, I thank you. For those of you who are stumbling by for the first time, come back soon!

But not for long.

After a month off, I am ready to jump back into it. Unfortunately, I am also heading off for a much deserved vacation for a couple of weeks. I will post a couple of things between now and Friday, but then I am off to Italy for 2+ weeks.

I will be back for real around May 20th.
