Though the image flashed only briefly, both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were seen wincing at the image. Whether or not it was recognized remains unknown.

As of this time, it is unclear as to how many Americans witnessed the outrage, but there are reports of as many as 200,000 phone calls made to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) reporting the obscenity.

CNN has yet to make an official statement regarding the matter, but a top spokesman was reportedly overheard denouncing the incident as “despicable.”

Standing beside two parked cars, two men in dark baseball hats wait for the signal.

It’s broad daylight and nearly rush hour on Bloor. A woman in paint-stained jeans sprints ahead of the men, scanning the street. Another stations herself across the road, surveying the speeding cars for police. The thumbs-up sign is given.

The painting can begin.

Seconds later, a cardboard bike stencil is thrown on the road and the first of seven cans of hot pink paint is emptied on a stretch of Bloor St. W.

We here at Militantplatypus always enjoy new ways of looking at old things. Each of the above is a pie chart representing the percent color used in country’s flag. So countries like France show up as equal thirds, and countries such as Belize, are more complex. If you ignore the fact that they are alphabetical, it is also fun to try and guess which pie chart is which flag (you can click to chart to see the flag).

Someone figured out a Google URL string that removes the ads from your searches. Personally, I don’t find Google ads intrusive, and I would rather have them present than have to pay for Google searches and features. If you disagree with me, here is the URL.
