Just an evolution of the skateboard - won’t take long before it gets banned everywhere just like boards are
That big wheel won’t get killed by gravel and rocks - nice upgrade.
They need to figure out a way to put a hand actuated brake on it - that is another upgrade that boards always needed.
Now that I’ve watched it again… I wonder if that rear castor is really needed. I’d think that once you got rolling, centrifugal force from the main wheel would be more than enough to keep you upright. Coupled with the low center of gravity, I imagine it is pretty stable. Heck of a unicycle =-)

It needs the caster to work. Just like anything with wheels, a unicycle keeps you from falling SIDEWAYS by a gyro affect. However, the only thing keeping you from falling backwards or forwards is your ability to pedal forwards or backwards.
Like RapidEye said, you can’t stop without jumping off. …and there’s no way to actuate brakes on such a short wheelbase. You’d flip or fly off.
It’s a gimmick.
…and I’m a nerd.

Maybe you brake by stepping on the castor (like with a non-motorized scooter).
