Numbers Game

You Brits are probably familiar with this game, but it is new to me. The object is to select a group of numbers, then figure out the math that was done to them to get to the target number. Call me a math nerd, but I found the game to be really fun and challenging.

If you need help figuring it out, here is a youtube link to the actually tv show.

The people on the show are really amazing. I am gathering that the tv show has more than just numbers game. Is that correct?

    This is correct sir.

A selection of number and letter rounds.
You already know how the numbers work…
As for the letters: The contestant picks letters randomly from 2 pots - Vowels and Consonants.
Then, the contestant who constructs the longest word from said letters, gets the points.
The word has to be a valid word in the Oxford English Dictionary.

Then at the end, the infamous “Countdown Conundrum”
Basically an anagram against the clock (9 letters) - this sometimes forms a climactic tie-breaker.

    A good nerdy show :o)
