Still, that’s alot of money.. IF someone manages to ‘cash out’.

  3. bruce Says:

    e to power ( i times pi) = -1
    sum of all n of 1 / (2 to power n) = 1 + 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8 + etc = 2
    grand total = $1.002
equivalently, 1 dollar and 2 tenths of a cent

  4. ben Says:

The bitches in question are cashing $0.002.

  5. nerd Says:

Actually, i think (and i could be wrong), that it’s a check for .002 cents.
    e to power ( i times pi) = -1
    sum of all n of 1 / (2 to power n) = 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8 + etc = 1 ( n starts at 1 not 0 )

i’m wondering if the check contains a typo… perhaps it’s supposed to be for 2 cents, not 2/10s of a cent?

  6. wishiniisfishin Says:

I thought that was e to the 2 pi (the i looked like a 2)

Oh man, there’s a whole sound clip that needs to be posted with this. I nearly choked on my glass of water when i saw the cheque posted here.

Sorry if links can’t be posted here (it’s Youtube, if that helps), but this is really why this cheque is funny:
