What Where is it?

In yet another odd variation of the Wednesday contest, I am pleased to present: Coffee density.

This week’s winner is wishiniisfishin, with 198 stores in a five mile radius!

Here are the contest rules:

  1. The object of the game is to find the address in the world that has the highest density of Starbucks within a 5 mile radius.
  2. Go to http://www.starbucks.com/retail/locator to perform your search
  3. To be considered a valid entry, you must state the number of stores in a 5 mile radius, AND provide the resulting URL for verification.
  4. If you happen to beat my density rating (which I have already found), I will throw in a magnet as well.


Put your guesses in the comments to win our fabulous prize (a militantplatypus sticker). You must be a registered user to enter.

Notice: I forgot to mention that comments won’t immediately appear since they contain links. Don’t fret though, they go into moderation, and I will release them in order (they get time-stamped).

    wishiniisfishin: I am sorry for the confusion. I post ‘Winner!’ when I see that someone has written the correct answer. Since I can’t monitor the contest continually, I can’t always place the ‘Winner!’ immediately after the correct answer. I place it there so that people know that there is not need to continue guessing.

    Sorry about that, the post disapeared and I didn’t know what happened. I haven’t seen any of the other Contests go away after the winner was announced so I was puzzled. By the way, who is the winner this time?

    So where is the highest concentration of Starbucks? I came in late, but the guess off the top of my head would be Manhattan.

    198 was the winner, and yes it was NYC. I had 166 in London.
